Heading to Brazil

Next June, Latinofusion will be present at two key Brazilian Festivals that focus on Ibero-American productions: CineCeará (based in Fortaleza, northeastern Brazil) and CineSul (in Rio).
CineCeará’s opening night will be with the world première (hors concurs) of El Cayo de la Muerte, by Wolney Oliveira, who is also the Festival Director. Together with other 7 titles in competition from Brazil, Spain, Cuba, Guatemala and Argentina, is Francisco Lombardi’s Mariposa Negra (a Perú/Spain co-production). Latinofusion’s Sales and Acquisition Exc Estrella Araiza and Francisco Lombardi will be in Fortaleza during the event starting June 1st.
Both El Cayo de la Muerte and Mariposa Negra are in Latinofusion’s catalog for world sales.
Alfredo Calvino, Latinofusion’s CEO is heading to Rio de Janeiro in mid-June invited by the directors of CineSul. Four Latinofusion titles are at the festival’s showcase: Tania Hermida’s Que tan lejos, Francisco Lombardi’s Mariposa Negra, Beto Gomez’ Hasta el úlitmo trago corazón and Ozcar RamÃrez Gonzáles’ Atrás de las sombras.
