Where in the world is Personal Belongings?

Alejandro Bruges’ Personal Belongings, Best Work in Progress at Cine en Construccion-Guadalajara, has just finished the digital post-production at Estudios Alcine in Spain.
Estudios Alcine was one of the sponsors of the Cine en Construccion Prize, together with Latinofusion and Cinefusion (Latinofusion’s partner production company, both part of University of Guadalajara’s corporate conglomerate.
The material is now in Switzerland for the final tape-to-film process that is being done at Swiss Effects. From there, the film comes to Mexico where the first 35mm print will be produced.
The first English subtitled print, as well as the Betacam Master (also with English subtitles) and 500 DVDs will be produced free of charge by Titra California, also a sponsor of the Cine en Construcción Prize.
A prospective schedule points out mid-September for the whole post-production process to be complete. There are already several festivals in line attempting to guarantee the premiere of this unique 100% indie Cuban film which has already won 3 important awards even before completing its post-production.
