Personal Belongins in competition at Miami International Film Fest

After a succesfull debut in his home country at the Havana Film Festival last december, where the film won the 3rd Coral Award for First Feature Films (Opera Prima), Alejandro Brugué’s Personal Belongings is starting its international career in the official competitive section of Miami International Film Festival, which starts on February 28 th thru March 9th.
The Festival has presented films from more than 50 countries, including 250 East Coast, US, and world premieres, scores of Oscar winners and nominees, and many international prizewinners. $100,000 in filmmaker cash awards including three Knight Grand Jury prizes of $25,000 each are warded in dramatic and documentary competitions along with $2,500 awarded in the shorts competition.
