Last Monday during the closing ceremony of SANFIC 4, Pablo Fendrik received another international award for “La sangre brota” (Blood appears). The Jury of the International Competition, composed by Lisando Alonso, Frederic Boyer and Michael Chapman, chose Pablo Larraín’s “Tony Manero” as best film and Pablo Fendrik as Best Director for “La sangre brota”.

Alejandro Brugués’ film Personal Belongins had its awaited première in Havana on July 8th at 8:30 pm at Charles Chaplin’s cinema in Havana. On the 10th, the films opened commercially at the Yara and Acapulco cinemas.

Still in Miami where the film is at the official competitive section of Miami International Film Festival, the director is flying staight to Mexico where Personal Belongins is at Guadalajara International Film Festival Ibero-American Feature Competition.
