Matilde Michanie was born in Buenos
Aires, where she studied Film and
Journalism. In the 90s she moved to
Germany, where she completed her film
and television studies and graduated from
the University of Kassel. While there, she
also worked as a journalist for radio and TV
and as producer and researcher for many
European and Latin American productions.
She made, among other documentaries,
Los descampados (1988), El Che vive
(1997) and Hitler en Paraguay (2003).
