Sinopsis/Synopsis:
A collection of vintage films and photos come out of the past to tell us about Bill and Joyce’s true story: that of two lovers that even death couldn’t break apart.
In 1930, the American Smelting & Refining Company hires William Parker to work at the Angangueo mines, in Michoacán. Bill, as his friends called him, arrived together with his girlfriend, Joyce Hartzell, a photographer. Bill was an amateur film maker. Joyce was dazzled by the world she photographed. A diary written by Bill tells the tale of those last few days together: from Joyce’s passing to his own suicide.
En 1930, la American Smelting & Refining Company contrata a William Parker para trabajar en las minas de Angangueo, Michoacán. Bill, como lo llamaban sus amigos, llegó acompañado de su pareja, una fotógrafa llamada Joyce Hartzell. Bill era aficionado al cine. Joyce tomaba fotografías de todo ese mundo que la asombraba. Un diario escrito por Bill relata sus últimos días juntos: desde la muerte de Joyce hasta su propio suicidio.
