Sinopsis/Synopsis:
Afghan Muscles will smash every stereotype you ever had about Muslim identity and the devastated country of Afghanistan.
The young men of Afghanistan have discovered the art of bodybuilding. In a country ravaged by war, these men still hold on to their dreams; dreams of muscle, honour and fame – absolute control of the body in a world of chaos.
”Afghan Muscles” is a story about dreams. The dreams we all share, but that are never the same. From the rubbles of Kabul to the skyline of Dubai we follow Hamid on a great journey that will take him accross mountains and through a struggle to honour both his own dreams and his fathers aspirations.

Músculos Afganos es un documental que invalida cualquier estereotipo sobre la idiosincracia musulmana para mostrarnos una faceta totalmente inusual de la vida cotidianda de Afganistean.
Jóvenes afganos hacen lo imposible para poder ser estrellas del fisicoculturismo en un pais destruído por la guerra. Solo piensan en músculos, honor y fama. Su meta: el control absoluto del cuerpo en medio del caos a su alrededor.
Músculos afganos es una historia sobre sueños. Soñar es algo común a todos los pueblos, aunque los sueños nunca sean los mismos....
De las ruinas de Kabul a los rascacielos de Dubai, el documental acompaña a Hamid en su lucha por alcanzar sus sueños y reivindicar la honra de sus ancestros.
